Tony Stewart is, of course, about racing in all its forms.
So, it’s only reasonable to take Team One Cure into the NASCAR arena.
was welcomed as a newcomer to the Karting Spectacular.
Representing WELD Racing will be “Kami Kaze” Chris Day from the television show “Street Outlaws” and Pirelli World Challenge driver Shea Holbrook.
The last person standing was “Kim” from Fresno, California who had chosen “heads” for the victory.
Kim received a Team One Cure canvas bag filled with goodies including a die cast autographed by Tony along with a pair of “14” canvas chairs and a pair of “14” stadium blankets.
And, bragging rights for having competed against some pretty talented drivers in the racing circuit!
The event was open to the general public for a .00 admission (donation) per person at the gate.
These are definitely going to be displayed in a place of prominence by our competitors! There are several leading institutions throughout the U. Tony and his foundation came away wanting to help spread the word about the amazing work being done to battle cancer – a disease that impacts virtually everyone.Borrowing the Flint Animal Cancer Center’s own branding of “One Cure”, our foundation has established Team One Cure as a multi-faceted program with two primary goals: (1) Raise awareness of the availability and potential of comparative oncology; and (2) raise funds to find cures for cancer in both people and pets. We each have a family member, a friend, a colleague, a neighbor, a pet or someone special in our lives who has been diagnosed with cancer. This summer, Team One Cure will be on the hood of Danica Patrick’s No. Danica, like Tony and Jay, is a big softie for animals and so helping promote “one cure” through comparative oncology benefitting people and pets was a natural choice.Additional on-track adventure arrives late summer with a single-day, multiple location karting competition.
